This is the latest update from DFW Airport Board on the North Bound Service Road exit.

Work has begun on the North Bound Service Road with a new completion date of July 31. The road was originally expected to be finished in late August/early September—so this is great news. Highlights of the project include:

• Metered (gated) lanes from the service road onto International Parkway
• Service road traffic shall yield to bus ramp
• New lane to allow for two lanes of thru traffic onto North Airfield Drive Once complete, traffic will be able to access Highway 114 Westbound without going around to North Airfield Drive or East to Freeport Parkway
