The TWU and IAM received a letter from Maria Kate-Dowling of the NMB dated October 9th, and is requesting for additional information to enable the NMB to determine class and craft issues for representational purposes. An example of this would be the IAM under LUSCBA represents Planners/Schedulers and Legacy American Airlines Planners/Schedulers are considered Non-Union positions.
The NMB Board requests that the participants provide position statements and supporting evidence regarding the craft or class issues raised by the application in this case. Statements and supporting evidence are due to the NMB Board by 4 pm. eastern time Thursday October 23, 2014.
The TWU and IAM Representatives will continue to work with the NMB to help resolve these issues.
